butterfly kids purseMy niece asked me to make a purse for her(a few months ago actually). For her birthday I whipped up this cute, purple, butterfly purse. I used the camera bag pattern (Simplicity 4391 G)and enlarged the pattern 25%..making the perfect sized kids purse. It has a Velcro close.
I made the butterfly.. using freezer paper to make the pattern and clear thread to stitch over all the seams. The last bit was to hand-stitch her name.
