My sister and brother-in-law just had another baby!! I'm an aunt again-yay!!. Miisa Ona was born on July 11 at 7:06pm. I was so happy to be able to be at the birth(my older sister and myself were both in the room). The baby is a beautiful, beautiful girl. Our family is so blessed with this new child. Years ago, my mom said she wanted to have a dozen grandchildren. We all told her probably would just get 10...until two years ago. My sister remarried and said that they wanted to have 1 or 2(she already has 2 daughters). So last July they had a baby girl(Sidney) and this July another baby girl(Miisa). She has her hands full now. Sidney just had her 1st birthday two weeks after Miisas birth..Happy Birthday Sidney!!XOXO

Merry Christmas!

All of my moms 11 grandkids..next year it will be 12(my sister Carrie is expecting another baby). William gave me Photo Shop Elements 11 for Christmas..so this is a picture we took of all the kids on the stairs. I photo-shopped in Ethan, my nephew(bottom center row). He was there and we got a photo of him earlier but he didnt feel good and went home early. I also photo-shopped Liam and Carsons faces..they were both making faces in the origional photo. Im finding that it's not so easy to edit a photo...I'm watching youtube videos on how to use this program. We had a wonderful day and in the evening went to see Les Miserables..loved!

Alpaca Yarn Hat

My husband loves alpacas...he's always said he would love to move to the mountains and raise alpacas. Most people chuckle when I tell them that but I thought it would be special if I made him something out of alpaca yarn...It is very soft before washing..btw. And a friend at work says alpaca yarn gets softer when you wash it. So this was one of his Christmas presents from me this year. It is the second beanie hat i've knitted(learned from watching you tube videos).. He loves it. I'm half-way done making a matching scarf.
