GPP Streat TeamI make a Journal Kit. It's a challenge for the GPP Street team(My first). It isnt fancy. I have pens (I mostly use pens in my journal) glue stick some scraps of paper, plastic rulers, plastic template, glue dots, scissors, decorative scissors, chalk pencil, led pencil, carbon paper and a ball tip stylis. I can think of a few more things to add to it. I really like the date stamper in Michelle Wards kit. I think I'll have to get one.
I have 2 journals. 1 for writing and sketching ideas(It's lined). Plans for projects I'll jot down when the idea is fresh in my mind. #2 is a unlined journal for drawing or painting in. Both will fit in the kit as long as I don't add too much more.
This kit might actually help me remember to take my journal when I walk out the door. I've always made my kits out of Ziplock bags. I go everywhere with Ziplock bags full of my current project.
I'm so happy now that My journal has a home.

Hi Nancy. Bravo to you for getting in on our crusade just under the wire...and for getting your kit organized. LOVE your hand page. Since this was my first time here I poked around and really like seeing your quilted work - have you thought about making a fabric journal???
You can get cheap date stamps at Staples or Target or Walmart - I think I have 5 or 6 different ones. Thanks for coming to play Nancy.
Welcome! It looks like you have everything you need...I mostly just use pens and pencils too. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
Nancy,
You have a wonderful blog. Sewing/quilting/stitching is tugging at my heart, yet I have a tough time getting started. I will be back for inspiration. The hand journal page is great...it feels like it is a self-portrait of sorts, showing the intrinsic power within your creative hands.

That looks like a nice condensed travel journal - I like the ease and simplicity of just pens and pencils myself - sometimes its all you really need. Love the hand page!
