Hermit crab made it to the fabric challenge. There were 9 entries in all and Hermy won the most votes!! 14 total votes! I was worried I wouldn't finish in time. I've been sick this week. My sinus and ear problem is back. My ears are full of fluid. I've been dizzy feeling- congested and sleepy from the medicine. I left work early on Friday to go to the Dr and had to go back today. I am on antibiotics and sudafed, and allegra, and nasonex, and singular.

The binding is not completely done yet. I'm just happy it is done as much as it is. I had envisioned beads and all... but I'll have all of that before the show in October.

side note: it turns out Hermy was the purple shelled orange legged Hermit crab- Wally was the grey legged red shelled crab. -Liam should know best, as he tells me, 'cause they were his crabs. I think it was Wally but there's no use arguing with Liam and I don't know how to prove it... so we now call the quilt crab Hermy.
